Find the original message
The latest post is not always a new idea. It might be a reply, correction or follow-up to an earlier setup. Look for a source label, instrument, identifier and original publication time. If these are missing, avoid inventing the relationship from a similar asset name.
Keep revisions connected
A changed condition can alter the meaning of an earlier message. A cancellation and a new entry are different events. A partial-exit update may leave part of an idea open. Assess whether the delivered channel preserves those distinctions through captions, replies or explicit identifiers.
Treat a recap as a recap
A provider’s result graphic summarises the provider’s own presentation. It does not establish which messages reached you, whether you acted, or how your orders filled. An actual evaluation needs the full sequence, including unsuccessful and cancelled ideas, rather than a selection of winning screenshots.
Use a small information log
You can record a source, original timestamp, receipt timestamp, instrument and message type without placing any trade. Add later revisions and note missing attachments. This tests whether you can understand the stream. It does not turn an observation period into proof of future outcomes.
Why separate channels help
Source identity stays visible when each provider has a separate destination. It is easier to notice that two channels disagree or use different assumptions. You can keep their discussions separate instead of combining unrelated instructions into an accidental trading plan.
